QUICK EXPLANATION ON HOW OUR COMP RUNS:
AGE SECTIONS (CLASSES) –
You enter the section (class) your child is in based on his/her age as at August 18. e.g. 10&U means 10yrs old on that date, or under. 14&U means 14yrs old on August 18, or under. We will split by age if sections get too big.
ENTRIES –
Dancers can dance up an age group with any solos they like, e.g. 14&U Jazz and 15+ Jazz. Dancers cannot do more than one solo in a particular section (class)
CHAMPIONSHIPS –
This is run at the end of the comp. Dancers that place 1st in a section will be invited to dance at Champs for free. Director and Judges can elevate others to compete if wanted.
PRIZES –
All trophies/prizes are yours to keep, we have no perpetuals. We place 1st-5th in every section where permitted and allow equal placings if necessary. Every dancer will receive something for being on our stage 🙂
