8.00PM – SENIOR CONTEMPORARY SOLO COMPONENT

SENIOR CLASSICAL BALLET REPERTOIRE SECTION [13 YEARS & OVER]

QUICK GUIDE       

  1. Competitors are ineligible if they have received individual tuition from the Specialist Adjudicator in the past 6 months.
  2. All components will be adjudicated 1, 2, 3 below.
  3. All Senior females must wear Pointe shoes.
  4. Traditional Costumes are to be worn for Repertoire competition,
  5. On stage class dancers must wear leotard, tights, no skirts.
  6. Strict time limit for Contemporary Solo 2 minutes or less.

1) An adjudicated classical Class on Stage with guest teacher Mr Mark Brinkley
2) One Variation Solo chosen from the professional classical repertoire list below (see Female/Male choices)
3) One Contemporary Solo (only for Seniors) can be repeated at the GTB competition section, but must not pass 2 minutes in time, we will fade out the music.

  6. Choreography may be simplified to an age appropriate level for junior competitors.
